That means unexpected food and drink and entertainment that goes beyond the standard setlist. It’s creative, flexible, and always rooted in what makes your event unique.
Who is in The Fold collective?
We’re a collective of events and hospitality professionals based in East London, bringing together event managers, mixologists, wedding planners, and creatives with experience across everything from intimate dinners to large-scale festivals. Most of what we do is handled in-house—with a core team covering logistics, bar service, operations, and planning. When we need to bring in extra talent, we work with a trusted network of caterers, DJs, musicians, designers, and tech crews who know how to deliver high-quality, well-run events across the city.

Founder
With over 30 years in hospitality, Chris brings deep experience in food-focused and music-led events. His journey started in the mid '90s promoting club nights and raves, eventually leading to running his own restaurant and catering business until 2015. In 2016, he launched The Wedding Arrangers to specialise in creative, blank canvas weddings. As demand grew, Chris saw that it was time to take advantage of his experience and launched The Fold Events — leaning into his years of experience to produce a much broader range of events and parties.

Founded in 2016, The Wedding Arrangers plan alternative London weddings for creative, party-loving couples. TWA specialise in blank canvas and unconventional venues—spaces you can truly make your own. The approach is simple: put the party first. That means great food, proper music, standout bars, and styling that feels personal, not off-the-shelf.

After years of event planning, we saw a gap in the market craving for more casual and highly aigile / personalized approach to catering - street food. We get it. It’s fun, tasty, great for a crowd, and way more relaxed than a sit-down dinner. So we launched Chew That!—our street food events brand made for people who want good vibes and great eats without the faff.
